Porsche is a founding member of Femtec. With this partnership, we want to make an active contribution to the promotion of talented young women in engineering and natural sciences.
2. What is so special about Femtec graduates and scholarship holders?
The Femtec graduates and scholarship holders are distinguished not only by their outstanding professional qualifications but also by an exceptionally high level of commitment and a high degree of self-motivation.
3. What does the Femtec Network mean for your organisation?
For us, the Femtec Network is an important building block for tapping additional potential for our junior staff in the technical field. We have already been able to recruit some talented women for positions in production, development and procurement and work on exciting projects together with the scholarship holders within the framework of the Innovation Workshop.
4. What are your messages to the scholarship holders?
First: Innovation can only succeed with diversity, and women play a special role for us in this innovation process. As far as we as employers are concerned, Porsche’s external image initially stands for sportiness and prestige – but behind this lies a very familiar and down-to-earth corporate culture that surprises many.
5. How do you perceive the Femtec Network?
Professionalism, excellence and exclusivity are important attributes for Porsche – and they also fit perfectly into the Femtec Network. Femtec offers high quality programs and offers for participants in which Porsche is very happy to participate as a partner. Last but not least, we are happy to welcome interesting young people from this circle – we have exciting internships and entry positions, which we are very happy to fill with Femteclers.
