Creative Assistant (m/f/d)

Femtec was founded in 2001 with the goal of better connecting female STEM talents in business and academia and supporting them in their personal career development. The network provides qualifications starting from school and offers ambitious students excellent career perspectives through the Career-Building Scholarship. Diversity program development for organizations and career counselling for professionals are further components of strengthening diverse organizations. To strengthen our PR team, we seek you as a creative mind and dedicated spirit to further establish the Femtec brand and increase our outreach.

Your new responsibilities:

• You will support us in creating content for our social media channels, both graphically and editorially.
• You will be responsible for researching suitable topics and assisting in creating an editorial plan,
  as well as monitoring market and marketing trends.
• You will creatively design our advertising materials, particularly for the Career-Building Programs.
• With your creative spirit, you will develop new communication formats for the Femtec network.
• You will assist in maintaining and designing the homepage.

What you should bring:

• You are studying in media design, graphic design, communication design, marketing, or a similar focus.
• Creativity and a sense for typography, colors, shapes, and visual language.
• Ability to write compelling and concise texts. Proficiency in MS Office programs, as well as experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, social media apps (Canva).
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for social media, digital trends, and our mission: diversity and equal opportunities in STEM.
• Ideally, you have initial professional experience in social media and PR contexts, preferably with socio-political topics.
• Excellent German and English language skills (B2 level).

Idealy we are looking for a long-term commitment over multiple semesters. The position is planned as part-time, approximately 15 hours per week.
