Eight of the nine partner universities belong to TU9 – German Universities of Technology, the alliance of leading technical universities in Germany. They enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide as renowned research and teaching institutions that promote the transfer of knowledge and technology between university and practice. The excellent research and teaching of the TU9 universities is based on independence, plurality and freedom of the mind. TU9 universities have always been places of intellectual and cultural diversity, where internationalization and integration are a matter of course.
