“The Deggendorf Institute of Technology leads the STEM region of Lower Bavaria and has been running various STEM programmes for many years. A very special focus is on the goal to interest, inspire and empower girls and young women for future MINT professions. In addition, we are specifically trying to increase the national and international share of women in our professorate with the support project “ProForTHD”. As a university with around 40 percent international students, equal opportunities and diversity are part of our DNS.”
