Summer University 2018 TU Dresden

Students interested in mathematics, computer science, science and technology (MINT) have the opportunity to get to know student life at the TU Dresden during the summer university for a whole week.

In more than 20 different events, prospective students on campus, at companies and in research institutions can gain insights into the STEM disciplines and, among other things, pursue the following questions: How does a Formula racing car come about? How does my Navi know where I am right now? How do stem cells work?

In addition, the participants visit institutes, visit laboratories and can work on smaller projects. Scientists answer all questions and explain their current work. Prospective students also engage in conversation with students, learn more about student funding, dormitories and libraries and can use the evening events to exchange ideas and discover Dresden.

The Summer University will be held for the 21st time this year and will be organized by the Central Student Advisory Service. The participation fee is 60 Euro. Registration is possible until June 30th.
