Talents wanted

Who is the Femtec Career-Building Scholarship aimed at? Further information can be found below:

The Career-Building Scholarship is generally aimed at all female students enrolled in a STEM subject at one of the participating universities.

In particular, however, we would like to address and encourage students from the following faculties to apply: Electrical engineering/electronics, communication and information technology, engineering informatics or computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or engineering, mechatronics, microelectronics, automotive engineering, electronic energy technology, production engineering, computer and communication technologies, systems sciences, energy technology, physics, regenerative energies, physical engineering, materials technology, material sciences, industrial engineering and business informatics. The decisive factor for us here is the fact that the proportion of female students in these subjects is lower, and that international female students are statistically represented in large numbers.

The scholarship is aimed at female students who want to take the next step in their development, hope for support in the network and want to look beyond their own horizons. Students who, in addition to everyday university life, are looking for responsibility and new challenges to help shape future trends. Women who enjoy successively taking on influential positions – and are looking for excellent job offers. This can be, for example, a globally active team in virtual cooperation – or an innovative research project.
