Advisory board meeting and summer party: Femtec between sciences and industry
Following the slogan “STEM-careers in sciences and industry” the advisory board of Femtec met on Friday the 23rd September in the German Museum of Technology. Representatives of Femtec’s partner companies and partner universities discussed possibilities to improve cooperation between sciences and industry in several workshops. International role models as well as requirements and expectations of science and businesses in the case of cooperation were the focus of the meetings.
The workshops were followed by the popular summer party on the rooftop of the German Museum of Technology. The advisory board, over 200 students and alumni of the Femtec career building programme as well as representatives of the partner companies and partner universities came to the party. This year’s sponsor was Porsche AG. Porsche AG also handed over the annual Engagement Award to significantly committed women within the Femtec network. Thank you so much for your support!
Many networking opportunities between young professionals, sciences and industry representatives and all the developed promising ideas marked the perfect ending of a successful Femtec year!
